Calibration-Free Wireless-LAN Location Estimation System Using Polar Coordinates Filter

概要

Many means exist to estimate a person’s position using Wireless-LAN. Conventional methods require a large amount of data which is previously measured for calibration, however. This research aims for calibration-free position esti- mation. We make use of polar coordinates to make estimation without calibration and propose an estimation algorithm. s show the usefulness of our algorithm. And we also improve accuracy of real time location estimation by using polar coordinate filter.
